While it needs legislative and voter approval, the buzz is positive—imagine keeping more money in your pocket! However, some experts note it might shift tax burdens elsewhere, like sales taxes. Still, it’s a bright step toward affordability, promising Floridians a less taxing future!

Continuing on from last Monday’s newsletter, today we take a look at the popular Village of Gilchrist.

• Great for: Recreation, pools, two-car garages

Located near both Sumter Landing and Brownwood Paddock, the Village of Gilchrist offers residents a delightful mix of convenience and leisure. This friendly community boasts the Gilchrist Neighborhood Recreation Center, buzzing with games, adult-only pools, bocce, and shuffleboard. Just under a mile away, the Bradenton Pool & Recreation Center adds more poolside fun and indoor activities. Gilchrist’s custom homes, with three or four bedrooms, sit on spacious 2-acre lots, featuring big front windows, two-car garages, and manicured yards blooming with flowers and palm trees. Dining and shopping is a breeze by golf cart making it a great spot to call home!

There are several homes for sale in the Village of Gilchrist, but this one, with a price of $1.1 Million really caught my attention.
