🌴 Touring The Villages’ Premier Enclaves at Dabney

Take a ride through one of The Villages’ most beautiful (and often overlooked) premier neighborhoods—the Enclaves at Dabney. From lush, tropical landscaping and creative rock gardens to peaceful, tree-lined backyards where deer and turkeys roam, this community is pure Florida charm. Whether you’re house-hunting, looking for landscaping/driveway inspiration, or just curious about what makes Dabney so special, this quick tour is worth the ride. I was hoping to highlight a home for sale in this special place, but there are NO homes currently available!

🏈 Wings, Wagers, and Wary Villagers: The Hooters Poll Results Are In!

The Hooters poll got plenty of attention, with 213 readers chiming in. A near dead heat between curiosity and disinterest topped the results—86 readers said they haven’t been yet but plan to go, while 83 said they’re not interested. Of those who have visited, 25 loved it, 11 thought it was just okay, and 5 didn’t care for it. A few colorful comments rolled in too: one reader called it “low class and unhealthy cuisine,” another griped about “$1 celery, and sauce” and a third simply admitted, “I never liked chicken wings.” Safe to say, Hooters’ debut in The Villages is sparking mixed reviews and plenty of debate!
